A:	1.	Go to www.learnonci.com and fill in the activation code and password you received via email.
	2.	Complete the registration form and select a user name and password for yourself.
	3.	Select a student ID prefix. Your class’s student IDs will consist of this prefix followed by a number from 1 to 30. Make it something that students will find easy to remember, like your school’s initials, the name of the class pet, or your classroom number.
	4.	Once you select your prefix, you'll be able to create personalized student accounts for up to thirty children. To create these accounts, log in to the Teacher Control Section with your user name and password and select Class Information.

A:  Both kinds of accounts are created when you subscribe to Clever Island. Think of the Teacher Account as the ‘master key’ for your class’s subscription. With your user name and password, you can gain access to your account information as well as to reports about how your family uses our site. A Student Account, on the other hand, gives Clever Island a way to deliver customized content to each student using our service. We also use Student Accounts to track each student’s activities around the site, so we can present accurate reports to teachers. As a result, it’s important that each student in your class log in under his or her own user name when using the site: a student who logs in as somebody else won’t receive a custom-tailored experience.

A:  Your user name and password must be between three and sixteen characters long. User names and passwords are not case-sensitive: they can be entered in either upper case or lower case. They can contain letters, numbers, or some of each.
You may select any user name as long as it is not already taken by someone else. If your preferred user name is already taken, you will be prompted to select an alternative. (Adding a number to the user name you want is a good way to make it unique). You may not use special characters (dot, slash, dash etc.) for your username.
